You can see locals playing with their dogs and reading in the grass at the local parks and enjoying tours of the gardens and some of the most breathtaking southern mansions.

    A sort of college town feel to it this area of New Orleans is laid back. Full of shading trees and spacious houses its an Urban area that many tourists don't often see. The shopping districts still hold a 1950's feel to them, simple and elegant.

    Hop on the Street Car and explore this side of the city! More for the locals than the tourists you can get a nice cup of coffee and see the beauty and simplicity that the locals call home! But tourists are drawn here because of the Cities of the Dead, or the cemeteries that hold plenty of legend.
